Fourth grade students using “Kid Power Bands”

Miss Wagner’s 4th grade class started using their “Kid Power Bands” through UNICEF on March 5th, and will continue thru June 1st.  The class has earned 93 packets of food for kids so far.

For every 2,400 steps a student walks, they earn a Kid Power Point through the program.  For every 10 Kid Power Points, a life-saving packet of food is sent to a child in need somewhere around the world. As of today, their daily average steps are 11,563.

Miss Wagner’s class is participating in this because of a grant received through Tomorrow’s Hope and Fort HealthCare.
