Students in Ms. Sambs Food Sciecne class were learning about processed meats vs fresh meats. To demonstrate this, Ms. Sambs invited her father in to teach the students how to make sausage. Students used pork and venison, along with a variety of flavorings. Each group had the opportunity to add their own spices. Some students did honey BBQ, some did jalapeno and cheese, and garlic.
The previous week, students made fresh bratwurst and grilled those for lunch.
